The directory is ordered by the criteria below and nothing else. This page is generated from the same data the ranking computes from, so what you read here is what runs.
Regulation where you are
weight 3 · higher is better
Whether the broker has a verified, licensed entity that may legally serve your country, and how strong that regulator's retail protections are. Verified means checked by hand against the regulator's own register, with the date shown.
Verified spread cost
weight 2 · lower is better
The spread we measured ourselves on EUR/USD on a standard account, with the method and timestamp published next to the figure. Samples older than 90 days do not enter comparisons at all.
Breadth of verified entities
weight 1 · higher is better
How many of the broker's legal entities we have verified against their registers. More verified entities means more of the broker's structure has been checked, not merely claimed.
What never enters the ranking
Commission terms, partner status and affiliate arrangements. They are stored for our accounting and disclosure, and the ranking cannot read them - the list of allowed data sources is closed, and those are not on it. Rankings are never purchasable. If sponsored placement ever exists, it will be labelled where it appears and sit outside the ranked list entirely.
