Every trade whose holding window contained a results date, reviewed as its own population: different risk (gap, not path), different grading (the surprise, not the drift), different statistics (event outcomes, not daily ones). Blending earnings trades into the general record contaminates both populations - the commodities lesson, at equity frequency.
