What a futures strategy actually is
the contract clause
A futures strategy is the platform's written rule with the contract's mechanics inside it: which family and variant, which month and how the roll is handled, which sessions it trades, how expiries are conducted. The contract is not the venue of the rule - it is part of the rule, and a strategy that leaves it implicit has left half of itself unwritten.
