The platform's precision discipline - measure the vague, state the mechanism - plus crypto's two hostile filters: the observation must survive the noise (was it a real pattern or manufactured conviction?) and the substrate (does it hold across regimes, or was it fitted to one?). An observation that fails either is not a rule; in crypto it is usually someone's marketing or the history's coincidence.
