The separate record options need beside the trade journal: the portfolio's Greek exposures over time - total delta, theta, vega - tracked continuously, because these change as the underlying moves, time passes and volatility shifts, even when no trade is made. The crypto track kept a counterparty-exposure ledger for a risk that moved between trades; options keep a Greeks ledger for exposures that drift continuously as the market moves, invisible to a trade-only journal.
