The platform's record, plus options' own columns: the structure (options, strikes, expiry), the three judgements made (direction, timing, volatility - each recorded so each can be graded), the entry implied volatility (to see whether the volatility judgement was right), the Greeks at entry, and the exit. An options journal that records only the trade and the result cannot say which of the three judgements failed - and that is the one thing an options review most needs to know.
